Timex Men's Expedition Scout Watch

This item features a brass construction and originates from the Philippines. The adjustable nylon strap measures 20 millimeters and can accommodate wrists up to 8 inches in circumference. The dial includes a date window at the 3 o'clock position and full Arabic numerals. The 40-millimeter brass case is equipped with a mineral glass crystal. The watch face is illuminated by an Indiglo light-up function, and the hands are luminous. This timepiece is water-resistant up to 50 meters (165 feet), making it suitable for short periods of recreational swimming, but not diving or snorkeling.

Timex has a rich history of rigorously testing the durability of its watches. In the 1960s, the company conducted live television demonstrations, subjecting their timepieces to extreme conditions, including testing them on boat motors and the wrists of cliff divers, as well as in dishwashers. Today, nearly every Timex watch undergoes 24-hour testing for water resistance and accuracy before leaving the manufacturer's hands.

The mineral glass used in Timex watches is the result of a proprietary blend of minerals that are fired into the glass, hardening the surface and making the crystal more scratch and shatter-resistant.

The design of this Timex timepiece was developed in the company's Milan Design Studio, where Giorgio Galli carefully considers Timex's legacy while striving to push the brand forward with innovative and stylish creations.
